Kyle Cross (Calgary, AB Canada)
Breakz R Boss Records, Atomic Zoo, Fluent, Kick it Records
http://soundcloud.com/kylecross
https://www.facebook.com/kylecrossmusic
Born and Raised in Calgary Alberta Kyle Cross has always had a strong interest in electronic album since the first time he ever heard Daft Punk’s “Homework” album. His interest in electronic music helped him stumble upon the party scene in Calgary and a few short months later he bought his first pair of decks.
Over the years he has explored a lot of different styles in the start it was mostly focused on Hard Dance music on the alias Lanky. Learning how to work a crowd with good track selection and seamless mixing had given him the chance to play across Alberta and other parts of western Canada. In the following years Kyle slowly traded the aggressive beats for funkier basslines and under the alias of Kyle Cross he started pushing the Electro House and Breaks sounds he is known for today.
Drawing on influences from the likes of Stupid Fresh, Aquasky, Ac Slater, Miles Dyson, Beat beat Assassins and stereo:type you can guarantee that any set played by Kyle Cross will be rocking the bass bins with dirty basslines.
Focusing a lot more on his productions 2010 is looking very exciting with his first remix released on Fluent Recordings and followed by his 1st EP on Breakz R Boss a few more productions in the work. 2011 is gonna be very big for Mr. Kyle Cross.
Forthcoming:

Stereo Statik welcomes debut artist Divyde!
DIVYDE, the first artist to be part of the Stereo Statik family. His style is unique, mysterious, and dark; all the while maintaining an energetic vibe. His productions are rich with various elements that immerse the mind and soul. A growing process being developed from years of hardwork and experience now shared ready to be with the world.

We are excited to introduce divyde with his latest release on Stereo Statik, Panlifly.
Panlifly maintains grit and mystery throughout. Plentiful drums and rogue sounds keep the track rolling until the irritable flange bass percussive breakdown sets up the finale of this tension builder.

Divyde-Panlifly by Stereo Statik
The second track from Divyde out on 8-23 slightly brightens the atmosphere following the darker release, Panlifly. But once again he compliments an array of drums and effects with an evolving and growing bass and synth to give the tack the depth and progression needed.
Divyde-Initial Contact by Stereo Statik
The Frame is an audio illustration of what drives Divyde creatively. He strives to provide cutting edge mixes with various styles of house and techno while reaching out to listeners encouraging interaction and discussion. Everyone that tunes in will witness his evolution and drive as an artist. Subscribe or download in itunes or stream via soundcloud.

“I don’t have a method for writing anything. It’s a mess of breakups, moments, nostalgia, whatever. I really hope you enjoy it and jam it in your car some cool night in whatever town you’re in.” -W
